Three Pints Gone ~ “The Moose Song” (bawdy song, adult humor) ~ Camelot Days 2010

At last night’s session of the Clayville-Prairieland Pioneer Academy of Music, we were treated to the chorus of this song, but we were spared the verses. It’s an off-color staple of the Renaissance Faire circuit. Not quite as bawdy as it’s made out to be — note the sudden change of subject in this performance — but fun for all of us who haven’t quite yet outgrown our undergraduate sense of humor.

This video was filmed during the last pub sing of the 2010 Camelot Days Medieval Festival held at Topeekeegee Yugnee Park (TY Park) in Hollywood, Fla. Featuring Three Pints Gone with Bill Masino doing lead vocals, Kathleen Masino with supporting vocals, and Jesse Linder on guitar with supporting vocals. TPG, according to the blurb on their Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/3PintsGone/), “plays Celtic traditional-style folk songs and sea shanties at bars, Celtic fairs and events around the country.” Also at Renaissance Faires.
